The destinature village is located in the middle of the Southern Eifel Nature Park, the Luxembourg border is only a few kilometers away.

Many roads lead to the destinature village and you can use a wide variety of means of transport. Below is some information on how to get there.

By bicycle

Ernzen is located on a high plateau in the southern Eifel. Not far from the village and our destinature village there are several well-known cycle paths from which you can cycle to get to us.
Here are the distances from these cycle paths to our destinature village:
Rhineland-Palatinate cycle route (4.70km)
Nims cycle path (4.70km)
Prüm cycle path (4.70km)
Sauer cycle path (5.70km)
Enz cycle path (10.00km)

When you arrive in Ernzen, follow the signs to the destinature village on Flurstraße, Alten Schulstraße, Theisstraße and Weilerbacher Straße into the village. It’s about 1.3 kilometers from the entrance to the village near the church.

By train

A station connected to long-distance traffic is Trier station.

From Trier you can take the 420 bus to Irrel and then change to the 431 bus to Ernzen. You can find more timetables at the Verkehrsverbund Region Trier.
It is about 700 meters on foot from the bus stop at the church to the destinature village. Follow the signs opposite the church. On Flurstraße you will reach the Felsenweiher. Opposite, a stone staircase leads up to the destinature village.

By car

The easiest way to find Ernzen is probably with a Google Maps search, but of course you can also use the “good old way” with street maps. In the village you follow the signs designed for cars to the destinature village.
