Where and when do I check in/out?
We welcome you in the destinature village Hitzacker at the reception in the organic bistro directly at the entrance to the village. In the destinature village Südeifel the reception with bistro and washhouse is centrally located on the premises. You can check-in from 5 pm. Check-out is possible until 11 am. At the reception you also pay after your stay.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included in the accommodation price. You can order it in advance at check-in and get your delicious organic breakfast from 9.50 euros served in our bistro. You can then also take it with you to your cabin. By the way, we don’t offer a buffet, but serve each guest the breakfast they want. This way we want to counteract potential food waste. Can I bring my dog?
Yes, there are some destinature log huts, destinature hut plus and destinature hut available for you and your four-legged friend. Unfortunately, dogs have to stay outside in our destinature summer huts and the destinature bed to go’s, but they can still be booked with a dog on warm summer nights. You pay €10 per night for your pet. Please send your booking request to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and we will see if your desired hut is available. We ask all visitors with their animal companions to be considerate of the site and other guests. Dogs get their own bed and should not sleep in our beds, they should be leashed and not bark loudly. Please also be considerate of other guests in the bistro.
Do I need to bring towels, bed linen and hair dryer?
The huts are equipped with bed linen and towels. Additional towels, bathrobes and a hairdryer can be borrowed from the reception.
What is a family bed?
A family bed is possible in the destinature hut plus and in the destinature hut. It extends the lying area by the space between the existing beds, creating a 2.2 m wide lying area. This can be seen clearly on the floor plan of the huts.
What do I do with my luggage if I arrive early?
We can store luggage to a limited extent, but cannot accept any liability. Please ask us at the reception desk.
Can I bring a tent or my camper?
We want to offer our guests an undisturbed nature experience and keep the interference with nature to a minimum. In addition to our huts, there should be no other sleeping facilities, which means no tents or campers. Our beds are much more comfortable anyway.
Does the destinature village have WiFi?
You can use WiFi in the bistro area. In the destinature village Hitzacker, there is also WiFi on the grounds, but not all over the place.
Does the hut have cooking facilities?
Cooking and barbecuing is not allowed in/at/between the huts or on the terrace. We are happy to provide you with food and drinks in our organic bistro.
How often will my hut be cleaned?
With our destinature village we offer a sustainable holiday experience. Being environmentally friendly is very important to us. Therefore, the cabins are not cleaned daily. If you would like to have them cleaned during your stay, please contact our staff on site. For quick cleaning in between, you will find a hand brush and dustpan in every hut.
Is there a toilet in the accommodation?
In our destinature log hut you have a bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Our destinature hut plus are equipped with a dry toilet and a hand washbasin.
Our destinature hut, destinature summer hut and destinature bed to go’s do not have their own toilets.
You will find more toilets in the washhouse.
Is there electricity in the accommodations?
Our destinature log hut has several power sockets distributed throughout the various rooms.
Our destinature hut has one socket indoors and two sockets outdoors.
Our destinature summer hut has four outdoor sockets and two indoors.
Only our destinature bed to go unfortunately does not have a direct power supply. However, there are solar panels distributed around the grounds which can be used for USB charging. You will find more sockets in the washhouse.
Booking & Payment
Is it possible to book without a credit card?
You will need to provide a credit card when booking (as security for us) but it will not be charged. The price of the overnight stay will be blocked and released after departure. If you do not have a credit card, please call us in Hitzacker on 05862/338 99 43 or call us in the South Eifel on 06525/ 933 12 81.
How do I pay on departure?
You can pay cash, with EC or credit card.
Why do you need my data?
We need your data exclusively for the booking. Here you can find informations about data protection.
Can I book your village / bistro for events?

How can I change my booking?

Here you will find our cancellation conditions.
You can cancel your overnight stay free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival. In case of cancellation within the 7 days before your arrival or in case of no-show, we will charge you 80% of the total price.
Can I do laundry in the village?
You want to wash your sportswear after the bike tour or you are staying longer in our destinature village. In the washhouse you will find a washing machine and a dryer.
Is there a place to change nappies?
You can change the nappies your baby or toddler in our barrier-free bathroom in our washhouse. There is a comfortable changing area there.
Where can I find toilets and showers?
Toilets, showers and a barrier-free bathroom are available in our washhouse.
Bistro and Wellness
When is the bistro open?
The bistro in the destinature village Hitzacker is open from 8 am to 8 pm from April to October. From November to March, the bistro is open on Thursday from 5 pm to 9 pm and from Friday to Sunday from 8 am to 9 pm.
The bistro in the destinature village Südeifel is open all year round from 8 am to 8 pm.
From 8 am to 11 am, you can have breakfast in both bistros. From 12 noon, you can enjoy snacks and tasty drinks for the rest of the day. Day guests are very welcome.

I can only tolerate certain foods or eat a vegan/vegetarian diet. Is there an offer for this?
We take intolerances and different diets into consideration. You will find a vegan and gluten-free menu. And of course, cappuccino and co. are also available with oat milk or soy milk.
Can I use the wellness area as a day guest?
Yes, you can. But only from November to March, after booking by phone.
Unfortunately not in summer. Because we keep this free for our overnight guests.
Yes, you are welcome to come and relax. But only from November to March, after booking by telephone (Hitzacker Tel.: 05862/ 338 99 43 or Südeifel Tel.: 06525/ 933 12 81). Unfortunately, this is not possible in summer, as we then keep the area free for our overnight guests. See our price list for more information.

Where can I find a car park?
Not far from the destinature village Hitzacker is a large car park where there is also an entrance to the Archaeological Centre Hitzacker (AZH). You can park here free of charge. We kindly ask you not to drive up to the village, as this access is reserved for residents and garden owners. In front of the bistro you will find a transport possibility for your luggage.
In the destinature village Südeifel you will find a large free car park directly at the entrance to our site.
Is the village wheelchair accessible?
So far, our organic bistro is wheelchair accessible, as is our washhouse. We are working on making the huts also wheelchair accessible.
Can you buy the huts and the bed to go?
The Bed to Go will soon be available again, you can find it in our online shop. Unfortunately, our huts are not available for purchase, as we are working on further development. Are you also open in winter?
The season at destinature Dorf Hitzacker runs from 1 April to 31 October. In winter, we only open some of the huts over the weekends (Thurs. – Sun.).
In the destinature Dorf Südeifel, we are open all year round (excluding public holidays). Only the summer huts are not open in winter.
Can I give away an overnight stay with you as a present?
Of course you can! In the online shop you will find our gift vouchers, which can be used for all services in the destinature village and redeemed on departure.
How do I redeem my voucher?
The value of the voucher will be deducted from your bill at the end of your stay.
Is there a playground on the premises?
There is no playground directly in the destinature village Hitzacker, but you will find a small playground a few metres away at the Archaeological Centre Hitzacker (AZH). We have a covered sandpit and climbing frames on our ground. You can find more play and leisure activities in our leisure tips.
Unfortunately, there is no playground in the destinature village Südeifel either, but there is a football pitch and a climbing frame. You can find more play and leisure activities in our leisure tips.
In both villages we have a box with various balls and balancing toys.
Are larger group bookings possible?
