Workation & Team Offsites
Swap the office or your home office for nature: With a workation in our destinature villages you combine duty with pleasure. Whether alone or on an offsite with your team – we offer you the setting to escape the usual working day, get creative and relax after your to-dos. We are not your usual conference venue with state-of-the-art seminar rooms, but above all offer you and your team a place close to nature where you can work together in a completely different way. Around the campfire or with a teambuilding-event like a joint canoe trip.
Working exceptionally
Thanks to WLAN in the villages, you have the choice of how and where you want to work: with your laptop in your hut, on your terrace or in the bistro. Working teams are welcome to use the entire infrastructure of the destinature villages. Would you like to brainstorm by the fire bowl or exchange ideas over an extended breakfast? We are open to your wishes! After your work is done, you can relax in our bistro with delicious organic food and relax in our outdoor wellness area. Discover the unique landscapes of the Elbe floodplain and the southern Eifel and come up with completely new ideas.
Local cooperations
We have already tried to involve the local population in our destinature project during the development of our villages. We also make use of local and regional resources during construction and operation cooperations. We don’t want to be a foreign body in Hitzacker and Ernzen, but rather work together with the local people to get something going. This starts with the purchase of food, continues with cooperation on leisure activities and extends to cooperation in the area of workation and team offsites. We deliberately want to use and revitalize existing infrastructure to offer you a working environment that you can use for your workation or team work phases. Local color included. In Hitzacker, we can offer you a desk or meeting rooms in the coworking space Hitzacker (approx. 5 minutes walk from destinature village) and in the village center of Ernzen (approx. 10 minutes walk from destinature village) two meeting rooms of different sizes in the village community center.
Teambuilding-Events
Do you want to get out into nature and exercise alongside your work? Then you’ve come to the right place in the destinature villages. Hiking, cycling, water sports – many things are possible. Browse through our leisure tips for Hitzacker and Südeifel. We also work with local providers who have a lot to offer, from outdoor activities to guided tours and team-building events. These range from sofa raft tours to guided hikes and nature coaching. Talk to us about the possibilities on site, we will make suggestions and arrange contacts.
Offers
You are welcome to book your workation simply like any other stay via our website. If you would like to reserve a space at Coworking Space Hitzacker, please indicate this in the comments when booking. We can offer a discount for stays of 5 days or more. If you would like to come with your team, please get in touch via email and let us know your wishes – we will then put together a suitable offer for you. Please note: Team bookings should be made well in advance and preferably for “off-peak times”, as things can get tight during vacation periods.
Coworking space Hitzacker
You can book a desk in the coworking space in Hitzacker, even spontaneously. Coffee and tea are included in the daily rent. There is also a meeting room for up to six people. The coworking space has a screen & projector, flipchart, presentation case, sound system, printer, photocopier and scanner. In special cases, the entire coworking space can also be rented. Please contact us if you are interested.
Meeting rooms in the southern Eifel
In the southern Eifel region, we cooperate with the municipality of Ernzen and can offer you two meeting rooms in the village community center. Conference equipment such as a projector etc. can also be used here. There is even a table tennis table in the lower large room for a sporty break. There is a small kitchen in the upper room.
